About the Lessons

Frequency: Weekly lessons are 30 minutes each, up to 4 lessons per monthly billing cycle. If there are 5 Tuesdays in the month, for example, the instructor will choose 4 of those Tuesdays to have lessons OR count the 5th Tuesday towards the next billing cycle.

Tuition & Payment: When enrolled in auto-pay with a credit/debit card, payment for the scheduled lessons will be processed on the first of each month.

Student Cancellation Policy: Monthly tuition grants the student access to a plethora of musical knowledge, but it also reserves a portion of the instructor's time. For this reason, no refunds will be issued for students in absentia.

Instructor Cancellation Policy: Should your instructor cancel a lesson, the student will either be issued a full refund for the missed lesson, or be credited the balance for one lesson in the next month's tuition.

Student Responsibilities

  • Arrive to the lesson with all lesson materials. (Guitar, picks, drum sticks, books, etc.)
  • In order to minimize distractions for other students, please do not enter the lesson space more than 5 minutes before your scheduled lesson time.
  • Practicing your instrument at your weekly lesson is not enough to propel you forward as a musician. You must be willing to put in the hard work at home, too!
  • Practice 15-30 minutes EVERY day. A little bit of practice every day is better than 3 hours of practice one day a week.
  • Most importantly...have fun! That's what this is all about!

Parent Responsibilities

  • Encourage your child to practice the material covered in their lessons every day. Look in their lesson book to make sure instructions are followed as they rehearse throughout the week.
  • Be on time to the lesson so the student can receive the full instruction time that is reserved for them.
